Chase Elliott will pay tribute to his family’s incredible NASCAR® legacy with a special paint scheme in the
2019 Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
For the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR®, Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA Chevrolet Camaro will sport a livery
inspired by his father Bill Elliott’s No. 9 Mell-Gear Ford Thunderbird which he drove in 1981 – the last season
Bill raced for his father George Elliott. Bill recorded seven top-10 finishes in this car – including two top-10
results at Darlington.
Now the official die-cast of Chase Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA Darlington Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is available to
order from Lionel Racing. Each 1:24-scale car is being offered in two different trim levels – an Action Racing
Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and also a fully die-cast ELITE version that features an opening hood
and trunk. A plated Color Chrome finish in 1:24 scale and a smaller
1:64-scale die-cast are also on offer.
