When Alex Bowman’s No 48 Ally Chevrolet hits the track at Darlington Raceway in May, it will turn back the clock to the early racing days of Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Greg Ives.

Before becoming Bowman’s crew chief in the NASCAR Cup SeriesTM, Ives was an accomplished Super Late Model racer on the short tracks of his native Michigan. Years later, Bowman and the No. 48 car will honor Ives’ short track days with a special paint scheme that matches one Ives ran years ago.

Now, fans can add the official Lionel Racing die-cast of Bowman’s No. 48 Ally Throwback Chevrolet to their NASCAR® collections. This 1:24-scale car is available in two different trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and also a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk. Each features authentic details like rolling Goodyear tires, a hand-applied decal package, window net, and more.
