Kyle Larson clinched the first Championship 4 berth of his NASCAR Cup Series career Sunday, rolling to a convincing victory at Texas Motor Speedway.
Larson led 255 of the 334 laps in the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500, driving the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet to his series-best eighth victory of the season. His first points-paying victory at the 1.5-mile Fort Worth track was the 14th of his Cup Series career — he also won the non-points NASCAR All-Star Race at Texas in June.
