Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson benefitted from a gutsy two-tire pit stop strategy to earn his first victory at Martinsville Speedway in the NOCO 400.
The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series® champion was called to pit road with many of the other leaders late in the 400-lap battle at the historic Virginia half-mile. With two fresh tires, Larson found himself near the front of the field on the race’s final restart. Larson was able to wrestle the lead away in a spirited side-by-side battle with 30 laps remaining and cruised to Victory Lane for the second time in three weeks.
Larson’s fans can now celebrate the Martinsville victory with the official Lionel Racing raced-win die-cast of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro.
