Hendrick Motorsports will celebrate one of their biggest Allies and the spotter for the No. 48 Chevy, Kevin Hamlin, during The Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® at Darlington Raceway.

Hamlin drove in the NASCAR Xfinity Series® from 2005 to 2010, and the #48 Ally paint scheme at Darlington will turn back the clock to Hamlin's 2007 Chip Ganassi Racing livery.

Now fans of HMS and longtime fans of NASCAR® can add the official Lionel Racing 1:64 die-cast of this special throwback car to their own collections. Produced on the Next Gen Chevrolet tool, each 1:24-scale die-cast is available in two distinct trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is produced with an opening hood and trunk. The ELITE also features a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal a detailed undercarriage.
