Alex Bowman and his primary sponsor Ally will race a special salute to United States Army Sergeant Nicholas Tomko during the Memorial Day race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In 2003, Sgt. Tomko was serving as a door gunner on Baghdad night patrol when he was shot and killed by enemy fire. As part of the sport-wide NASCAR® Salutes program, Ally and the Hendrick Motorsports No. 48 team will honor Sgt. Tomko's sacrifice with this patriotic livery that features his name and rank on the hood.

Now Lionel Racing is honored to present the official die-cast of the No. 48 Ally Patriotic Chevrolet. Produced on the Next Gen Chevrolet tool, each 1:24-scale replica is available in two different trim levels -- an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk, plus a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal a detailed undercarriage.
