In a year that celebrates the accomplishments of Hendrick Motorsports over its 40 years of NASCAR competition, Alex Bowman and the No. 48 team will be honoring a legend responsible for many of those accolades.
During the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR at Darlington Raceway, Bowmans No. 48 Chevy will turn back the clock to a paint scheme famously driven to dozens of victories by NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Jimmie Johnson. The same No. 48 livery that Johnson wheeled to Victory Lane 18 times between 2002 and 2005 will reappear on Bowmans Ally-backed No. 48 car during the Darlington Throwback weekend in May.
Fans of Johnson and Bowman can now add the official Lionel Racing die-cast of the No. 48 Ally Throwback Chevrolet Camaro to their personal NASCAR collections. Produced on the Next Gen Chevrolet tool, each 1:24-scale replica is available in two unique trim levels an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk. The ELITE die-cast also features a chassis pan that can be removed to reveal undercarriage detail. Each die-cast is built with retro Goodyear tires, a driver-side window net, hand-applied decals, and more. A Color-Chrome-plated model and a 1:64-scale die-cast are also on offer.
This unique Jimmie Johnson tribute die-cast will be offered as part of a limited run, so order yours today!
