#5 car will be signed by Kyle, #24 car will be signed by Jeff
The 2024 edition of the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis marked the 30th anniversary of the NASCAR Cup Series® Crown Jewel event at one of the sport's most iconic venues. Jeff Gordon, driving for Hendrick Motorsports, took the checkered flag in the inaugural event at the Brickyard in 1994.
Fittingly, Kyle Larson celebrated the 30th anniversary of Gordon's win with a victory of his own on July 21, 2024 during the 40th anniversary season of Hendrick Motorsports in NASCAR® racing.
Larson bookended the first 30 years of the prestigious event's history in grand style, leading the final seven laps to secure the victory with his No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro. It was Larson's first win at Indianapolis and came after a spirited battle of differing fuel strategies late in the race.
Thirty years prior, Jeff Gordon took his No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet Lumina across the yard of bricks at Indianapolis as the first winner of a NASCAR Cup Series® race in the "Circle City." Gordon's win was another dramatic one as he and several other contenders swapped the lead back-and-forth over the final 50 laps.
Now, NASCAR® fans can celebrate the bookends to the first 30-year history of the Brickyard 400 with an exclusive two-pack of Lionel Racing diecast. Included in the set are the Raced-Win versions of both Gordon's 1994 No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet Lumina and Larson's 2024 No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro.
Lionel Racing's talented team of diecast artists will meticulously recreate all of the markings shown on both cars in Indianapolis Victory Lane.
