For the second time in the last four races, Kyle Larson put on a dominant performance to score victory in a NASCAR Cup Series Playoff elimination race. This time, Larson led 62 of the races 109 laps at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL to secure his place in the postseason Round of 8.

Much like the Round of 12 cutoff race at Bristol four weeks earlier, Larson and his No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro were unmatched once out front at the 2.28, 18-turn Charlotte ROVAL. Larsons sixth victory of 2024 was the 29th of his career and continued his run at a second NASCAR Cup Series championship.
