In a year that celebrates the accomplishments of Hendrick Motorsports over its 40 years of NASCAR® competition, Alex Bowman and the No. 48 team will be honoring a legend responsible for many of those accolades.
During the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® at Darlington Raceway, Bowman's No. 48 Chevy will turn back the clock to a paint scheme famously driven to dozens of victories by NASCAR Hall of Fame® driver Jimmie Johnson. The same No. 48 livery that Johnson wheeled to Victory Lane 18 times between 2002 and 2005 will reappear on Bowman's Ally-backed No. 48 car during the Darlington Throwback weekend in May.
