Hendrick Motorsports 40th anniversary weekend at Martinsville Speedway was capped off in emotional fashion as William Byron scored the win and led a HMSsweep of the podium finishing positions.

With the Hendrick Motorsports drivers each driving Chevrolet Camaros that featured a ruby red livery to honor the 40th anniversary of the legendary organization, Byron withstood challenges from his stablemates on an Overtime restart to take his third NASCAR Cup Series victory of 2024. Led by Byron, Hendrick Motorsports became the first team to sweep the podium in a NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville and was the organizations record 29th all-time win at the half-mile track.
